Change in scenery

Well I got my qurantine tank set up and ready. The filter on it is amazingly quieter than my emperor filters.

I also put my last surviving cory in my sisters tank, seeing it would of died in my tank like the other 5 sooner or later from not getting any food. Hopefully it will get some more food in her tank. When you drop a wafer in it, the fish don't play football with it like the fish in my tank do.

The cory seems to be doing ok, though a little nervous of his new sorroundings which I can completely understand. My sister and I have completely different tastes when it comes to fishkeeping. Her tank is brightly lit with rainbow fish and clownloaches, which give it a colorful appearance. Kind of reminds me of a sunny beach somehow. My tank on the other hand is lightly lit with a black background and a few broken up pieces of wood. It kind of has an eery feel to it compared to my sister's happy one. So I can totally see the shock in scenery for the little cory.

I have noticed, however, that the cory doesn't swim on the upper to mid level parts of the tank like he did in mine. In my tank he would never venture to the bottom unless I was feeding the fish then he would search the bottom for food. In this tank he seems to be swimming on the bottom a lot more. I'll keep you posted and see if it continues.
